AHSI organizes additional further educational programs and courses. At the end of the course it is possible to obtain a US diploma. These are not accredited secondary school or university degrees (that requires up 2 to 4 years education), they are diplomas which can be used as an additional confirmation of knowledge.

AHSI does not send software to students, every student has to get his own software. However, there are certain advantages such as:
- 30-day Free Trial version (Borland C++, all Macromedia programs), or
- Some programs are already part of your PC installation but you probably haven't used them yet (e.g. Front Page as part of Microsoft Office program), or
- Software does not have to be new (we recommend that you look in your local newspapers or Internet newsgroups, first ask about cheaper options about buying software and then about buying new software).

Except software, students do NOT have to get anything else for all AHSI courses. Whole necessary material AHSI continuously "step by step" sends to its students by e-mail.
AHSI always teaches its students how to use the latest versions of software. Here is the exact list of all versions of needed software (it depends, of course, on the type of course you would like to attend):
- Computer languages: Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 Enterprise Edition (contains Visual Basic and Visual C++) and Borland C++ Builder 5 Enterprise Suite
- Web pages creation: Front Page 2000
- Advanced Web Design - Macromedia: Dreamweaver 4, Dreamweaver Ultradev 4, Flash 5, Fireworks 4

If an AHSI student wants to obtain a German version of AHSI diploma as well, it is very simple to arrange that because AHSI has an examination center on German Maxipoint Institute. He/she has to pay a minimal fee and to obtain a German diploma too and in this way an AHSI student can have two diplomas: USA and German.
