Material for studying is received in an electronic format from AHSI continuously (Tuesdays) during the language course.
The student within the educational program work on real examples and assignments, for unclear work and corrections contact via e-mail the
AHSI instructors. The basic instructions are in the simple English language by using dictionary.
Why doesn't AHSI educate strictly by traditional methods of learning a foreign language?
Here are a few specifics in view of technical differences
with traditional methods:
- AHSI does not have a basic first course foreign
language in the type of: I am Sandy., You are Jack,
or similar. Mainly this first level is considered
unnecessary out of a multiple reasons.
- Constant email correspondence with the instructor
who corrects errors whilst learning and gives corresponding
advice.
- After the start of schooling the student decides
their own "Field
of interest".
- AHSI does not have a definite date when each grade
is to be completed. The education is in this way organized
because in reality with learning a language it is
precisely in this manner. In fact it is impossible
to really ascertain the exact date at which for e.g.
students, to all at once learn e.g. ADVANCED English
or a German language, because, this is individual
and depends clearly on a multiple of reasons. All
what would happen is that at that exact date all would
receive a diploma, while the real knowledge is very,
very much the matter in question. However, many traditional
schools are not concerned with this… In short on the
basis of the above exposure AHSI does not stipulate
a fixed date when each grade is completed. AHSI educates
month by month until the student wishes and accent
of importance is knowledge and constant "socializing"
with the foreign language. Naturally, grades however
exist and the student can request that they pass an
exam of a stipulated grade after which they are personally
sure that they have acquired suitable knowledge for
that grade.
Summary of grades:
Grade 1: Primary step/Grundstufe
Grade 2: Under step/Unterstufe
Grade 3: Middle step I/Mittelstufe I (first grade)
Grade 4: Middle step II/Mittelstufe II (second grade)
Grade 5: Advance step I/Oberstufe I (first grade)
Grade 6: Advance step II or III/Oberstufe II or III
-This course AHSI does not have in their program.
The student should because of the spoken language
enroll in an advanced local course or they should
begin to exercise there speech within an environment
where they can improve on their knowledge.
All of the above first 5 grades can be prepared within
a period of 2 to 4 months (not fixed). Tests are carried
on-line (Chat), at the end of every month. The student
can apply for a test at every grade separately or
at once at the end of the grades they have completed.
- All communication with the student is done over
the Internet, besides with the language course there
is no fixed period with a certain level of hours (arrival
to work), already here are periods only in terms of
the day (it is necessary to complete all the required
work before the new lecture arrives on Tuesdays).
This learning approach is easier and a benefit to
busy people (mostly all generations are busy with
something) and indirectly reduces the cost of an education.
